Have you heard the idea that the OPPOSITE of our love languages is how we self-soothe when we are feeling traumatized? E.g., My 2 primary love languages are Words of Affirmation and Physical Touch... but when I'm in a deep depressed state I tend to hermit (where I'm not getting any physical touch) and verbally talk badly to myself. I think it's fascinating.

I'm also curious if childhood traumas inform Love Languages, like if you had a verbally abusive parent, are you going to crave Words of Affirmation? If your parent or caretaker was absent do you most highly value Quality Time? Etc.
