I am wholeheartedly in your camp. A friend of mine has been planning her divorce for 6 years now... she has 4 more to go until the last kid graduates. She's overheard the kids talking about how much better things will be when their parents split.... yet she refuses or isn't ready to take the step because "she doesn't want to lose the kids." <<shrug>>
