I danced while I was married (and in the crumbling last days of my marriage, fantasized about being single so I could dance more). The early days of the pandemic and my divorce collided at the same time, and dance just hasn't come back in my area. At this point, it's been two years since I danced, and I feel like a muted, subdued shade of who I used to be.
