Thank you for your sweet wishes. Yes we HEAR more often about women getting abused by men but REPORTED statistics show that it’s close to being equal. Of course I’m sure this is underreported—for both men and women.
I think when you’ve spent decades hearing someone tell you that you aren’t worth anything and no one else will ever want you and this is the best it will ever get, you start to believe it.
I hope you never have to experience anything like that.
