This is inspiring. "Who are you when nobody's watching?"

It all boils down to our essence, and if we can be quietly centered and accepting of our selves. I have similarly quit social media (no instagram, facebook, or linked in for nearly 2 years now) and while it can be quieter and lonely at times, I trust that my people will still be able to reach me via text or by picking up the phone. And I've shifted my compass so that I am less reliant on external feedback than I was previously, which is undoubtedly healthier for my mind.

Thank you for sharing so eloquently. And yes, you complimented yourself correctly (because its what felt natural and came easily to you. And as far as I'm concerned, any positive self talk is perfect as is.)
