Ugh. It's so hard to watch someone repeat a pattern that you know from their history will only hurt them. Again. And then to have to gird yourself to pick up the pieces when they're broken hearted when it all goes south.

That said, I'm going to hold out magical hope that Joan has done a lot of inner work and growth and is able to change and willing to change and in fact, has changed. Fingers crossed. Update us here, Len! <3
